Safety Coordinator

PCL Construction is committed to industry-leading safety performance. We're looking for a Safety Coordinator to support our Calgary projects by implementing safety programs, conducting site inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture. This role is ideal for a safety professional passionate about preventing injuries and ensuring workers go home safely. You'll conduct safety orientations, perform hazard assessments, investigate incidents, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with site teams to continuously improve safety performance. Your work will directly impact the wellbeing of hundreds of construction workers across PCL's Calgary projects. • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field • 2-4 years of construction safety experience • CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) designation or working toward it • Strong knowledge of Alberta OHS regulations and construction safety practices • Experience conducting safety orientations, inspections, and incident investigations • Excellent communication and training delivery skills • Ability to influence workers and supervisors on safety matters • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management systems • Valid driver's license for travel to multiple project sites • Willing to work in construction field environments
