Data Analyst - Supply Chain Optimization

Join Suncor's Supply Chain Analytics team and help optimize one of Canada's most complex energy supply chains. As a Data Analyst, you'll work with massive datasets to identify efficiency improvements, predict supply needs, and support strategic decision-making. This role offers the perfect blend of technical analytics work and business impact. You'll partner with supply chain managers, operations teams, and finance to develop dashboards, conduct analyses, and provide insights that drive millions in cost savings. We use cutting-edge analytics tools and techniques, giving you exposure to the latest in data science and business intelligence. This position offers a hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week in our modern downtown Calgary office.

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or related field • 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in supply chain or operations • Advanced proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) • Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis • Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and logistics • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an asset
