Pharmacist - Hospital Pharmacy

Alberta Health Services is hiring Pharmacists for our hospital pharmacy at the Rockyview General Hospital. You'll provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including medication order review, clinical consultations, patient counseling, and participation in multidisciplinary patient care rounds. As a hospital pharmacist, you'll play a crucial role in medication safety, therapeutic optimization, and patient outcomes. You'll work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use. This position offers variety in clinical areas including medicine, surgery, emergency, and mental health. • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree • Active registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy • Hospital pharmacy experience preferred but new graduates welcome to apply • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence-based practice • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong attention to detail and medication safety focus • Capability to participate in on-call rotation • Proficiency with pharmacy information systems • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
