Healthcare Aide - Long Term Care

Alberta Health Services is looking for compassionate Healthcare Aides to join our Long Term Care team at the Colonel Belcher Veterans' Care Centre. • Healthcare Aide certificate from a recognized program • Current registration with the Alberta Association of Healthcare Aides (preferred) • First Aid and CPR certification • Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care • Good physical stamina and ability to perform lifting and transferring • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Patience, empathy, and respect for elderly residents • Ability to work as part of a team • Flexibility to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends • Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search required
