Job Description

Alberta Health Services is seeking Medical Laboratory Technologists to join our team at Calgary Laboratory Services. You'll perform a wide range of diagnostic tests that are critical to patient care, working with the latest laboratory technology and equipment in one of Canada's largest and most advanced healthcare laboratory systems. Your work will directly impact patient diagnosis and treatment across Calgary's hospital network. You'll conduct tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank, ensuring accurate and timely results that physicians rely on for clinical decision-making. Requirements

• Medical Laboratory Technology diploma from an accredited program • Current registration with the Alberta College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (ACMLT) • Previous laboratory experience preferred • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and safety protocols • Proficiency with laboratory information systems • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
