Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

WestJet Airlines is seeking licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) for our Calgary maintenance base. You'll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on WestJet's fleet of Boeing aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled aviation technicians to work with a leading Canadian airline. You'll conduct scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, perform component replacements, and complete all required documentation. • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license issued by Transport Canada • M1 and M2 ratings required; Boeing type rating is an asset • Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance procedures • Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and schematics • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail and commitment to safety • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs • Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays • Strong teamwork and communication skills • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
